Well the drywall is going up. Too damn bad the price also went up on drywall. Thanks to the hurricane's last year and the "need" to rebuild that shithole New Orleans, the price of drywall went up almost double. But I have purchased and moved all 72 sheets to the basement. I finished all the electrical work early last week including new tracklights in the pool room. I put in high grade stereo wire in the walls ran to speaker outlets along with a master stereo box for connecting all of them. It will be nice not to see the wires running up the wall to the speakers.
The guy has already started to hang all the drywall. The ceiling is up on all three rooms now. The computer room has the walls on three sides up. He will be back tomorrow morning at 8AM to finish the rest and get the mud and tape going. I will shut the computers down at that time and move them up stairs so they are not ruined.
Today will be spent taking the pool table apart. It needs to come down anyway so we can get the carpet in. That should be a lovely task, taking the thee pieces of 3/4" slate down and storing it somewhere.
All in all it is turning out pretty nice. Now I just need to get my brother the turdhurder out here to put in the bathroom!
